How do I get grant writing help for my nonprofit?

The Base Camp Foundry program (a partnership with AmeriCorps VISTA via ServeNebraska) is a service available throughout the year that provides nonprofits with capacity help like grant writing. To learn more, visit our Base Camp page

Do I have to already be a nonprofit to participate in the Spark Works program?

Spark Works is an incubation service designed to help young nonprofit or individuals, who may be interested in creating a nonprofit, start out strong. If you are not yet a nonprofit, but are interested in starting a nonprofit, check out Spark Works for best practices, resources, and ideas on whether this is a path you want to pursue. 

What time of year do I sign up for an intern?

The Intern Foundry program has both spring and summer cohorts of honors students who are partnered with purpose driven business, public sector, and nonprofits. For the spring Intern Foundry cohort, employers can sign up and pay for an intern from April through July. before the following spring term. For the summer Intern Foundry cohort, employers can sign up from August through December, before the following summer term. For more information, contact hello@thefoundry.co.

Can we cater our event at the Foundry?

Guests are more than welcome to cater food and beverages for their event. Of course, our favorite is right here at the Foundry. Bagels & Joe is happy to provide you with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. If you want additional suggestions, we’re happy to help.

Where do we park?

Parking is in University Square (entrance on 14th and P) or in Larson building (entrance on Q and 13th). Metered street parking available on P & 14th Street.

How do we make our payments?

We will send an online invoice to the person who books the meeting.
A $50.00 cleaning fee will be invoiced separately if the room isn’t left in a clean state. This includes wiping off the tables, arranging tables and chairs, and vacuuming if need be.

What’s expected of us for cleaning up?

We expect you to respect the Foundry. Please reset the room according to the diagram in the room. If you feel so inclined, trash can deposit in our alley cans.

No-no’s

Please, no glitter. Please refrain from using any of the sparkly stuff! Really, any little thing you’re going to sprinkle on the table. So, few care about this addition, but the environment does.
