Lilly School of Philanthropy: The Fund Raising School

Right here at the Foundry! November 3-6, 2026

Lilly School of Philanthropy's Fund Raising School is the gold standard for fundraising, and we're ecstatic to be bringing it to you right here at the Foundry! From Tuesday, November 3rd through Friday, November 6th, a faculty of expert fundraisers and scholars who are at the forefront of the industry will provide a research-based framework for fundraising success by bridging the gap between theory and practical nonprofit application. Lilly's curriculum is built on original data and proven methodologies, ensuring that every strategy is evidence-based and tailored to the evolving philanthropic landscape and your unique nonprofit's needs. 

Priority Registration is from September 1-11 for Foundry Members. There are only 20 spots available for organizations! Attending all 4 days is required.

  • $350 to send 2 people
  • Lunch will be provided every day

*Note: The normal cost for The Fund Raising School is $1,500 per person + travel costs. Thanks to a generous grant from the Sherwood Foundation, the Foundry can provide this state-of-the-art fundraising education for a significant discount.

Follow-Up Workshops with the NE Nonprofit Management Institute | 11 AM - 1PM

  • Lunch will be provided at each workshop
  • Organizations that did not participate in The Fund Raising School but are interested in these workshops can send up to 3 people per organization for $200. There are only 10 spots available!

Meet Our Nonprofit Management Institute Workshops Facilitator Amy Funk

Mentoring development professionals is a key passion of Amy's, and she serves on the Peer Mentoring Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Chicago Chapter and Chairs DePaul University’s Alumni Engagement Committee, School of Public Service. In 2022, Amy joined the AFP Chicago Board of Directors, and co-chairs their Annual Fellows program.
