Marketing and Member Experience Manager

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Marketing and Member Experience Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for a diverse set of duties, including graphic design projects, member recruitment and retention initiatives, building operations support, and coordination of web design and social media efforts. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and engaging environment for our members while contributing to the overall success of our purpose-driven organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Graphic Design - 

  • Tend to all design requests from Foundry staff, producing high-quality documents, flyers, and handouts. 
  • Oversee the update of all signage around the building to align with the organization's updated logo and mission statement. 
  • Provide general graphic design support for various projects as needed.

Intern Foundry Program - 

  • Actively participate in marketing efforts for the Intern Foundry program, working closely with, and to support, Executive Director, Intern Foundry Coordinators, and UNL Honors for marketing and deliverables. 
  • Drive marketing strategies during intern recruitment to increase program visibility.
  • Explore and implement streamlined processes for intern applications, considering potential program growth. 

Member Recruitment and Retention - 

  • Manage ongoing outreach, marketing, and communication with prospective and current members. 
  • Support initiatives for member connections through bimonthly newsletters, announcement boards, and events such as The Sessions. 
  • Conduct regular check-ins with current members, seeking feedback and addressing their needs. 
  • Review and maintain signage, messages, and promotional materials. 

Building Operations - 

  • Assist in all building operations to ensure member satisfaction. 
  • Provide behind-the-scenes support, including mail management, website updates, and communication with maintenance personnel. 

Web Design & Content/Social Media - 

  • Maintain accurate records on the organization's website. 
  • Coordinate social media outreach efforts, as needed, aligned with the organization's web presence. 
  • Attract, engage, and retain donors through communications including email blasts and social media posts. 

Meetings - 

  • Schedule and facilitate regular team meetings with key stakeholders. 
  • Foster open communication to address concerns, provide feedback, and enhance collaboration. 
  • Other duties as assigned related to all listed job duty categories. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 
  • Proven experience in graphic design and familiarity with design software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with web design, social media management, and marketing strategies.
  • Ability to communicate and connect with diverse membership from purpose-driven organizations effectively and positively.
